About Me

My photo
Rev. Rod Reinhart
I am the pastor of two Episcopal congregations in the south suburbs of Chicago. I am the host of Faith On The Front Line on WGBX, AM1570 and I have a public access Comcast TV program. I often write a column on religious issues for the Southtown Star newspaper. I am active in the cause of peace, economic justice, and labor rights. For many years, I was a leading poet and writer in in Detroit's Cass Cooridor Cultural Revival. I hosted Detroit's Community Concert Series and founded the People Who Care AIDS Ministry. In Chicago, I work to preserve the enevironment and stop youth violence. Here, in the Diocese of Chicago, my church runs a vital food pantry to feed an impoverished community.
